
Breakfast or Snack of the Day Smoothie
The worst way to wake up in the morning is waking up feeling sluggish. And what’s worse than that, is a restless night of sleep. This smoothie is hands down the best energy boosting meal ever. For moms, this is the perfect and easiest breakfast to make for yourself, toddler, and baby (6 mos+) all together! During my pregnancy with Sanaa, I drank this smoothie nearly every morning during the second trimester and Rudeena absolutely loved it! It is so refreshing and totally helped with my pregnancy tiredness and upset stomach. What’s even better are all the antioxidants I was introducing to my baby. This is a super easy recipe and something you’ll almost always have ingredients available for.

Ingredients
1 Ripe Banana
1 Cup Spinach
1/3 Cup Strawberries
1/3 Cup Blueberries
1/3 Cup Blackberries
1/3 Cup Raspberries
1 Cup Water
1 TBSP Chia seeds
1 TBSP Honey (optional)
Directions
In a blender (I used a NutriBullet), add all berries, spinach, banana, and chia seeds.
- Add water last (add less/more water for your desired consistency).Blend for at least a minute.
- For a sweeter smoothie, add 1 TBSP of honey and blend again for a few seconds.
